Cool Blue Interactive’s Angie Lane Voted Communications Chair of the Georgia Tech Women Alumnae Network
ATLANTA (May 15, 2015) Cool Blue Interactive’s Studio Director, Angie Lane, was recently voted Chair of the Georgia Tech Women Alumnae Network’s (GT WAN) Communications Committee. GT WAN is the premier networking group for women graduates of Georgia Tech.
“This is an inspiring and exciting group of professional women who empower others to reach their full potential,” says Lane. “As Chair of the Communications Committee, my goal is to spread the message about the growth opportunities we provide, such as networking with some of the best and brightest, as well as educational opportunities important to professional women.”
GT WAN is an affiliate group of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association and has received the Association’s Award of Excellence for exceptional volunteerism to the Alumni Association and Institute. In April, GT WAN held its fourth annual Women’s Day Forum, “Daring to Be Brave: A Lineage of Firsts.” GT WAN events are open to alumnae, students, faculty, staff, and friends who support the organization’s mission.
Lane is currently the Studio Director for Cool Blue Interactive, an award-winning web design, development, and marketing firm ranked among the top interactive agencies in Atlanta. In addition to her new position as Chair of the Communications Committee, she serves on GT WAN’s Board of Directors. Lane graduated from Georgia Tech in 2001.
