Cool Blue Receives 3 Davey Awards in 2009
This year, the 2009 Davey Awards recognized Cool Blue Interactive with 3 Silver Davey Awards – one for the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival (www.ajff.org) in the Events category, and 2 for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida (www.conservancy.org) in the categories of Charitable Organization and Navigation.
"This year's competition saw an increasing diversified pool of entries and the high quality of work continues to push the limits of creative possibilities throughout the industry," noted Linda Day, Executive Director of the IAVA. She added "Even in these tough economic times, we continue to see top notch, high quality work being submitted, which is a true testament to the dedication and capabilities of our entrants. On behalf of the entire Academy, congratulations to our winners and thank you to all of this year's entrants for your contributions and commitment to the advancement of the Visual Arts."
The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Bo Simmons, President and Founder of Cool Blue, has been a member of the International Academy of Visual Arts as well as an awards judge for the past 4 years.
