With a philosophy of promoting the cinematic exploration of Jewish culture, attracting new, younger festival-goers while retaining its older fan base is integral to the success of the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival (AJFF), the largest film festival in Atlanta and the second-largest Jewish film festival in the country. More than ever, the AJFF needed a fresh, engaging website to simplify the scheduling of the 12-day event; make online, print-on-demand ticketing easy; create user-friendly navigation to attract viewers of all ages; and make managing its evolving content simple and effective.
Through a fresh, intuitive and easy-to-use website redesign, Cool Blue Interactive met the needs of the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, providing:
- A vibrant, user-friendly interface that appeals to younger and older users
- An effective, hassle-free, third-party ticketing solution with "Print-at-Home" user capability
- Organized, streamlined, and highly-customized event calendar and schedule views
- An extensive, intuitive Content Management System framed in Drupal for ease of use by system administrators
Along with a 13.5% increase in ticket sales, our custom website redesign enabled 85% of festival-goers to print tickets at home. This resulted in 78% fewer customers who used "Will Call" to pick up tickets—helping AJFF realize tremendous cost savings in on-site staffing, even as the festival sold more tickets and attracted new members.
