Description: This Intern occupies an entry-level creative and coding position in our company. He or she is expected to assist with graphical, creative and HTML production. This position will be adjusted to best fit the person's skills in design or development.
Required Experience: Must know Macintosh platform, be able to work with proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. Must be familiar with the interactive workspace and some Web page layout.
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years of development experience with hand-coding standards-based, semantic XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience / exposure working with Drupal 6 CMS
- Excellent ability to work with people at all levels
- Proficiency with cross-browser, cross-platform issues, and W3C Web standards
- Experience with PHP and mySQL is helpful
- Experience converting a Photoshop comp into a working website, using best practices, is very helpful
- Some Human Computer Interaction (HCI) (or Usability) knowledge
