Bo Simmons

President & Founder

Cool Blue Interactive founder Bo Simmons has more than 23 years of business experience that includes business development, sales management and finance. A visionary by nature, Bo was one of the first to recognize how the Internet would forever change business communications in 1995. It prompted him to help launch an Internet billing product in 1996, and then start Cool Blue in 1997 to help companies broaden their reach by moving their brands online.

Today, Bo leads Cool Blue’s business development and client strategy practice as chief executive officer, combining business acumen with best practices in information architecture, design and usability to deliver award-winning results for customers. Apart from Cool Blue, Bo maintains an active presence in the industry, from serving as judge on interactive awards panels and attending usability conferences to founding the Grow Your Cause initiative, which delivers the benefits of a new or enhanced web presence to local, growing nonprofit organizations. David Smallwood

Lead Developer

David graduated from Georgia Tech in 1993, specializing in material engineering but with a lifelong passion in computing and databases. Straight out of college David took charge of an insurance agency in North Atlanta, leading the company to sales and service awards during his 14 years. David sold the agency in 2008 and made a career change to focus on his passion for server side programming. David joined Cool Blue in 2010 after 3 years as an independent contract programmer doing LAMP work, Word Press and Drupal. David leads Cool Blue’s advanced implementations of Drupal 6 & 7 including cutting edge “responsive” web development for mobile friendly sites.

Yelena Digges

Project Manager

Originally born in Moscow, Russia and fluent in the Russian language, Yelena attended Kennesaw University with a focus on International Business and Administration. She joined the CBI team in September of 2011 bringing project management and organizational skills, experience managing support staff, a background in accounting and finance, and her ability to effectively communicate with people and gain an understanding of their needs.
