The Challenge:

With branding and content organization challenges, Alcan's leadership requested our assistance in providing clear corporate unity and intuitive navigation to serve the company's variety of stakeholders and audience members. They also needed a method by which to determine what users were responding to.

The Goal:

Working closely with Alcan’s internal site developers, Cool Blue’s design team created a compelling graphical interface and consistent, organized content to deliver a better, more customer-friendly user experience. With clearly defined paths and intuitive navigation, users can quickly and easily locate information and take action. Cool Blue also translated the site into French and Spanish to eliminate language barriers and engage Alcan’s customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The Result:

Cool Blue successfully delivered on all client objectives. Following the site’s launch, online survey results show 98% of respondents rated the site “favorable” to “extremely favorable”. Cool Blue’s redesign of the Alcan Cable website increased time on site by 150% since 2009 and decreased the bounce rate by 15%.
